C.C.C.C. began as a Bible study group in the home of Lewis and Ruth Walter in 1974.

The first of a regular schedule of services was held on March 2, 1975, in Fort Myers.

In October 1976, Rev. Stanley Ball was the first pastor with 13 charter members.

In September 1978, a three-acre tract was purchased in Cape Coral.

In June 1979, Wilton F. Sharpe, along with his wife Deborah, was appointed  pastor.

Ground breaking for the first church as held on September 14, 1980.  The first service was held on September 20, 1981.

On May 24, 1989, a five-acre site was purchased on Santa Barbara Boulevard to relocate the church.

The original church was sold in March of 1990.

The ground breaking for our current facility was held on September 20, 1990.

On July 7, 1991, the new facility was opened for the glory of God.

The church congregation continued to grow.

In the summer of 1995, Reverend Sharpe moved to New York.

In summer 1995 David Rigby, along with his wife Linda and their three daughters, moved to Cape Coral and became Pastor of the church.

Located next door, Cape Coral Christian School was opened in 1997.
