What is Ministry?
When some people hear the word "ministry," they immediately think of having to live in a grass hut in the middle of some third world county!  Though God may indeed call a select few of us to do such work, the word "ministry" simply means "to serve."  Plainly stated, "Ministry is using whatever God has given me to serve Him and the needs of others."  God doesn't expect you to do things he has not prepared you to do.  That's why He has equipped each of us with special abilities, passions, talents, and interests known as Spiritual Gifts.   Everyone has them, and Gods wants you to use these gifts to further His kingdom on earth.*
"Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not men, since you know that you will receive an inheritance from the Lord as a reward." Colossians 3:23-24

If you would like to begin serving right now -- even if only for one morning or evening per month -- there are many areas within the church where help would be greatly appreciated. Current Needs: * Adult Volunteers to help out in the Nursery * Small Group Leaders in Kids Church * A Certified CPR Trainer to instruct leaders * Someone to help with nursing home services * Someone to run Power Point during services * ...and many others.                                                           Please contact the Church Office
